Dear Nazrin, thanks for sharing!
So, what should be the main takeaway from the article?
Did the pills solve everything? What happens if you stop taking the pills? Do you depend on them now? Or is taking just few pills enough? Or maybe the pills did not have anything to do with your healing at all; your depression just went away itself; or maybe it was just placebo effect.
Modern world is full of illusions. Shows as if everyone is happy while almost no one is and will probably never be as they deceivingly show in the stories that they share every day. The problem is that our energy is being drained by a lot of things which surround us. Such as infinite scrolls on social media, pretending to be a person that we're actually not but supposed to be, "cool" guys on LinkedIn which look successful while they're just nothing more than empty box and etc. This environment urges us to do almost everything extrinsically. Think about it; is reading a book or earning a PSM certificate really makes you happy? Are these stuff something that you do extrinsically or intrinsically?
So, in such environment it's almost impossible not to get depressed. The only way to be free of depression is to go to some village, read your books there, eat healthy, drink healthy and breath healthy.
